Monday Moments

I thought it would be fun to start of the new week with 4 inspiring things to get us through the week ...

First up .......

Bonnie, is one of the most inspiring people, this article is a great read for tips about working from home and keeping your creativity and inspiration flowing, something I have struggled with post-op but really hoping that is going to change soon .. Go grab yourself a cup of Tea and spend 5 minutes reading this article..

I love Starbucks Mugs, I have been meaning to buy myself one fora while, but I have to say I think this Bistro Mug would be perfect and a great little reminder each day to be present in each moment .

Paper Cupcakes ~ Damask Love

The lack of creating in my home, is kinda sad.. but i think these cute paper cupcakes might be the thing to get my creative side going.. I think these would be the perfect "sweet" treat for my girls, maybe with a little something just in time for Valentines Day (4 days away !!! yikes ).

And lastly .....

10 Years of Kikki.K

I think this is such an inspirational video about turning your dreams and goals into reality and making things happen !! Not to mention the cutest stationary ..

So there are my 4 things to start the week of inspirationally..

If you have any inspirational links to share with us, please leave a comment below so we can stop by and check them out !!

Happy Monday

:: The best of 2013

Here is a round up of some of my favourite photos from 2013 ..

What a year, we enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime in Egypt !!! as a family of 6 :) amazing what glorious sunshine can do for your photos ..

My eldest daughter enjoyed her school prom and is now in her first year of highschool (she was also awarded the headteachers award , so proud of her ) .

My baby girl seemed to transition from a baby in a "little girl" we survived potty training in the day time, just need to work on the night time too, its a work in progress!

I was accepted onto my first Design Team which was so much fun ..

I opened a successful etsy shop selling die cuts and paper accessories, which I have since closed..

I changed my blog from Lemon Paper designs to Live Love Create so I can chase my dreams with this blog ..

Made some pen friends , which i love , truly talented ladies and their letters make me smile  .

In late November i re-kindled my love of sewing, dusted off my sewing machine and started to sew, i have a few fun projects in the works and maybe even a shop ???

Lastly, I finally had some closure on a on-going medical complainant, I am scheduled for Surgery for the end of this month...

I am looking forward to 2014 and all the challenges it brings :)

New Years Link Up..

I saw this being promoted on twitter and I thought it would be fun to join in !!

A bad habit I’m going to break:  Spending too much time on my laptop.

A new skill I’d like to learn: I would love take a photography workshop and learn calligraphy.

A person I hope to be more like: Kourtney Kardashian, I love her style and confidence.

A good deed I’m going to do: Volunteer with a community organisation.

A place I’d like to visit: Paris.

A book I’d like to read: Oprah's Biography.

A letter I’m going to write: Continue writing to my pen pals :)

A new food I’d like to try: More Thai and Mexican food.

I’m going to do better at: Doing more of what I love, spending more time outdoors, pursuing my dreams, crafting and creating more with my girlie's.

So fun, I am looking forward to seeing everyone else's responses :)

Are you joining us ???

Resolutions ... Yes or No ???

Do you set New Year resolutions ??

Its almost New Years Eve , that time when people start making resolutions for the coming year.

I have to admit, I like to think of the New year as starting a Fresh. I am not an avid "resolution" setter, more like goal setter for the year ahead..

For me there would be nothing more disappointing than challenging myself to do something, then by the end of January , to have given up..

So goals for the year, is the way forward for me..

This printable is perfect for goal setting, you can hang it up as a little reminder and tick goals off as you ago..

Knowing that I have a very clear idea of what I’d like to achieve for the year and how to do it, many of my ideas and dreams would remain exactly that. But when I translate those dreams and ideas into actions, suddenly it seems much more achievable...

So let me share my New Year’s Resolution  goals  with you.....

Buy a New camera
Take more Photos (on my dlsr)
Attend a photography workshop

Continue working on my blog, content, community, tutorials ect ..

Start an overall heath kick , more water, healthy eating, fitness ect ..

So how about you are you a goal setter ??? Or a Resolution Keeper ??
