Happy Little Moments Altered book .

A while ago I signed up for this Studio Calico Class ..

I started off with the best intentions of finishing the book within a month, that didn't happen and I only recently finished it, with a few pages left to add to it at a later date .

So here are some (a lot) of photos for you to enjoy .

Hope you enjoyed having a look inside ??? Hope it inspires you to create your own altered book ..

WOMWD #4

Happy Wednesday !!

We are mid-way through the weeks school holidays. Its been lovely to have the girls at home and not have the usual routine in place ... that being said not as much crafting has been going on, but that's ok.

Here is what my desk looks like....

I like to think that this is a little more organised than usual ??

My white storage basket is now filled with embellishments and stamps (loving the Amy Tangerine alphabet stamp) and papers for my Project Life album !!! yes i started last week and am loving the process !!! I like to store my bits and pieces in these baskets as it allows me to create on the dining room table, then when i have finished easily put everything back and take into my craft space (the loft).

Whilst I love the clean look on my scrapbook pages and projects, i do enjoying having a play with gesso, modelling paste ect. Canvas are perfect for this and i love to hang them in my room after, here is a little close up ...

And someone caught me taking photos this morning and wanted to say "hello" too ...

How could I say no ???? hehehehe..

Chipboard Wall Hanger

I love chipboard die cuts, they make the perfect embellishments for so many projects, I recently purchased, these Crate Paper die cuts ..

Crate Paper - Story Teller

My inspiration for this wall hanging, came from the girl holding the bag (above) I love the contrasting navy blue and red colours together .

I also had a play with Versa mark, Clear embossing powder and glitter. To make the tiny stars above the alphabet washi tape... didn't come out as I planned but its looks kinda cute anyway ..

i finished this little project last Friday evening, it took me about 1 1/2 hours to complete.

it now hangs on my wall in my craft room, i think that these would make the perfect little gift ..

Loving how this wall is coming together :)

Mixed Media Tag

Sometimes I wish I had more time to create, 4 girls and a house to look after certainly takes up a lot of my time, leaving very little time to create, especially in daylight hours ;)

Which got me thinking of "quicker" projects that I could create that are equally as rewarding.. One of the ideas i thought of was Mdf tags ( I made this one for the Kiwi Lane Guest Post ) .

I made this one, during nap time (which doesn't happen as much any more) .

I kinda like that there is a limited amount of space to work with, but the possibilities are endless..

You all know by now how much i love layering, in this case the layers are more subtle, paper, gesso, paint, stamping and then embellishments.

I love that the lace just adds a touch of "shabby chic" feel ..

So, what projects to you make when time is limited ???

Don't forget i am having a mini kit giveaway here ......
