Amy Tangerine "Day Book" Holiday Album ..

This Holiday mini, has been a work in progress over the past couple of months.. I have picked it up and worked on it as an when i could..

Last Thursday I finally finished it , although i have a couple of pages at the back left for journalling..

But I thought i would share with you some photos, I love how chunky it turn out ..

  

I used a variety of Amy Tangerine embellishments through out the mini.. They were a perfect match..

I think it will be a lovely mini to look back over in the years to come :)

Now onto my project .....

WOMWD #3

Happy Wednesday ...

I have to say I am so glad this week is almost over. the girls have a weeks holiday from school next week and I am so ready for a bit of a rest ...

This is what my work desk looked like yesterday afternoon..

The sun was shining through the loft windows and it was raining.. perfect !!!

It was stressful day yesterday, this was the ideal setting just to relax a little..

On my desk...

A little package i am putting together for my Pen Pal , which is now ready and waiting to be mailed..

That white basket is where I am working on my Amy Tangerine "day book" filled with memories from our family holiday, I did manage to add some journalling to the pages I have completed so far ..

I also have a mini album that is waiting to be filled with photos :)

My plans for today include a lunch date with my baby girl and maybe a trip to Hobby Craft ... what better way than to spend the afternoon ??? I am thinking of starting Project Life ...

WOMWD #2 ~ Mini Album

I shared with you a little sneak-peak of my Autumn Mini Album, so today I thought I would share with you photos of the finished album ..

So technically, not my work desk, but this album is still sat waiting for some journalling to be added, which I am hoping to complete this afternoon... I can hope :)

I tried to stick to a colour scheme and just go with it ..

I love how chunky this album turned out, the pages are a mixture of scrapbook paper, pages from vintage books and a few project life cards..

WOMWD (what's on my work desk)

Its been a while since I have posted  a WOMWD post, but I thought it would be fun to show you what I have been working on ....

be prepared .......

Yes, this was my work desk, for most of the past week ( I have now cleaned and tidied everything up )

Looking at this photo makes me smile, because how on earth I create in what i like to call "organised chaos"  is questionable ..

Sometimes, you just never have enough room ??? Or too many supplies ??? I am not sure but its my happy place <3..

So what have I been working on??? An Autumn mini Journal, which I have finished I just need to add my journalling to it ..

I have taken lots of photos and looking forward to sharing them with you soon ..

Chipboard Mini Album ....

I have to say making time to craft on an evening (when the girls are asleep) has been good for me! Some much needed therapy time after fun packed days with the girls..

This chipboard mini album took me two nights to complete, mini albums are a great way to use up paper scraps and embellishments..

I really like how this album turned out, i used Melissa Frances Paper coordinating  die cuts and Prima flowers .

Here is what it looks like inside...

I was thinking of adding a pocket in the centre, maybe for a pen ?

Here are some close ups of the inside ... A mini notebook and an accordion style fold tag pockets..

I love the romantic look of this album. By using chipboard to create the album allows it to stand on its own, right now it is stood looking pretty on my desk, not sure to give it as a gift or keep for myself ???

What craft projects have you finished lately ??

Whats on my Work Desk .....

It has been a busy, busy past few weeks...

I am glad that all the celebrations have come to an end and that I am able to enjoy some quality time with the girls before they return back to school in the next few weeks...

I have tried to make sometime for some midnight crafting at least every other night. its the perfect remedy after a stressful day..

So here is what's on my work desk ...

I have a few finished projects like, the Prima Scrapbook page and the Prima Frame, which I need to find the perfect place for....

I also have a (WIP) Work In Progress.. a mini album and an unfinished card ...

 

 

 

I need to finish the pockets and attach them to the album and then the fun part embellish it !!!

 



I also have a basket where I keep all my WIP and fun embellishment's, papers and miscellaneous items...

Current projects (WIP's)

I thought it would be fun today to share with you a few of my current projects that are on my desk..

Here is my "Happy Little Moments" book this is a class I am currently taking over at Studio Calico.

The blue basket that you see has all the papers, embelishments, thickers etc.. I try really hard to put everything back into it once I have finished. Once I have finished this book the basket will be emptied and used for another project..

This project isn't even started yet, but I have everything together to start!

This is an Amy Tangerine "hello" day book, which I want to create a mini album of our holiday to Egypt in, so as you can see I have a couple of postcards, recipes, hotel band and other memorabilia to include..

I have already chosen some papers, journaling cards, thickers ect to include into the album .. Everything is kept inside the white basket.

Last is this beautiful card which needs finishing.

The butterflies need colour adding, cutting and gluing. The the card need assembling..

Inspire .... Mini Album

I blogged on Sunday about my intentions for my blog over the next 3 weeks and goals for the future .... And my chosen word "INSPIRE" ..

I had so much fun making this cute mini album on Sunday afternoon ...

It's the perfect size for adding notes and thoughts, also great for carrying around too !

I used my Studio Calico March scrapbook kit to make it, using the majority of my favourite designers paper and embellishments !!

 

Looking forward to filling it up and seeing where this journey takes me !
